BIOCHEMISTRY LABORATORY

	Our biochemistry laboratory is well equipped and has a steady workflow and data management for all clinical processes. We offer state-of-the-art sample handling functions and powerful data management. We use PSM software from our principle Roche Diagnostics which reduces complexity and provides a simplified work environment with the least turnaround time. Our PSM interfaces to COBAS INTEGRA Systems, Elecsys Systems, MODULAR ANALYTICS Systems, Roche Hitachi Systems, URISYS 1800, MODULAR PRE-ANALYTICS, as well as Sysmex Systems. This modular software architecture allows us to adapt PSM to the specific needs and levels of automation, tailored to individual laboratory requirements. We maintain quality control and patient result information in our PSM-connected analytical equipment

Our department also uses Dade Dimension RXL-Max to conducts both routine and specialized biochemical investigations for the admitted as well as out-door patients attending the hospital. The department is open 24 hours and all routine and specialized tests are performed throughout the day and night. The department interacts actively with clinical colleagues to resolve any discrepancies and tries to find solutions to clinical problems. The facilities of the department are constantly being enhanced, both in terms of quality and inclusion of new parameters for measurement
